07' Rage Rear Cooler and Studs

Last week was my first ride since I studded my 07' Rage. I put in 108 1.325" studs down the center. I thought I had enough height protection with the rear cooler protectors that came on the sled. I was wrong. It does not seem that I gouged the cooler enough to put a hole in it. So I guess I will rivet on a couple pieces of old hyfax and hope that I dont bend my tunnel on a big hit. G.B.

good news is you didn't go through the exchanger, I too would put some hyfax on the protectors

also good news looks like you have a good amount of scratch lines with that pattern...lol

Yeah, the extra scratch lines might improve my cooling ability.
