where were these taken?
Looks like a new front end for 07...
I think I am going to run my 05 until at least 08 to see whats up their sleeves.

I am thinking that is something else besides an intercooler - maybe radiator? if there were forced induction, wouldn't there have to be somehting else feeding the carbs besides air filters?

to my eye that appears to be a modded 05 or 06 Vector. Notice the 3 carbs(?) and the 3 K&N style filters. Could just be a modded race Vector with a bike-style single exhaust?
In fact the pictures are taken in Sweden scandinavia. It is the swedish race driver Fredrik Granbergs race sled.a modded Nytro. He has been in the states for a while to work with Yamaha on this one.
It almost looks like it has Polaris spindles. The side panels look light weight and it appears to have a radiator behind the motor. The whole steering hoop is different -taller, stronger, looks to be more rider forward. The shock braces look more substantial but they don't appear to be cast.
The tunnel also looks to be deeper. Seems like the motor is a little bit different looking than the Vector 3 cylinder but then I've never really had a good look at my motor. I'm curious about it!
Oh, here is a link to the thread over n Snowest http://www.snowest.com/fusetalk/messageview.cfm?catid=91&threadid=231613

IS THAT CARBON FIBER?This is very trick!
Wow! A lot of work and $ went into that sled. It looks like the tunnel is deeper and the front bulkhead must be custom. The steering hoop is custom and I like the REV style pyramid frame up front. I bet somewhere around 10lbs was saved with the CF bodywork but man, I'm sure it is way too expensive for the average guy.
Do you know what it weighs?

Looks to me like they took a Vector / Nytro motor and oil tank and built a sled to house it.
Looks good. Has anybody got a shot of the rear suspension on it? Was just wondering which of the suspensions they use in it.
The tunnel looks real rigid! Should hold up nice to the big jumps. Looks a little "firecat" with the narrow track and tunnel...
