08 mtx airframe install on 08 rtx with oft 144

I have been asked and also thought it would be a good idea to start a thread on my project i have started as to putting on air frames on my sled.
my sled started life as an 08 rtx anniversary model and has many upgrades including the oft tip up 144 extension kit.
i ordered 08 mtx airframe boards last fall and have recieved my back ordered boards and thought i would get an early start on installing them.

will add some pics along with my progress as i am able.

first i hoisted bumper to ceiling and removed suspension

removed plastics, side panel and lower shroud

removed foot hold by removing 2 10mm bolts and 2 allen head bolts, then 14 bolt inside tunnel and drilling out 2 rivets up top on tunnel and 4 on floor board.

drilled out rivets and 14mm bolt to remove support brackets and trim but left rear bracket intact behind rear suspension bracket.

next im going to take 3/4" electrical tape and run it along tunnel as a guide to were to cut from front to back avoiding cutting into bracket at very front.

was checking fitment and noticed a problem, the rear suspensin bolt is not going to clear the new boards. I either need to raise or lower hole or lower board somehow.

any opinions or help is appreciated.

decided to drill a new hole between original and rivet hole

checked fitment and scribed bracket for trimming after installing bracket

marked and cut
