As the subject says.
Anyone know where to get wrp boards for a 08 mtx in the great white north?
Want a set ASAP and figured it would be a lot quicker shipping within Canada then from the states.
Also was thinking on an oft relocate.

Try Royal Distributing , Recreation Supply or Sledwerks . They may have the boards you want. As for the OFT relocate that may be a USA order only. I don/t think anyone is carrying them in Canada. Maybe shoot OFT racing a email and see if they have a distributor in Canada.
How's the snow on the ROCK. Getting any riding in yet. Hope it starts snowing here soon, starting to have withdrawals.

Thanks will have to check out these places.
As for snow there not so much here on the east coast just a few inches, but it is colder then usual for this time of year.
The west coast has had a good dumping as of the last few days I think. I have a cabin in bonne bay if your familar with the area. It seem like they're getting a bit each day. Cold that way too.
That's why the rush is on for the boards.
I'm going to the cabin early in the new year and want all the sled projects completed by then. Mod time is over then, only riding time allowed lol.

I think they are all about the same when you are looking at that style of insert. About the only one that might be stronger are the ones made by mountain tech but he is in the states.
As for that style of board you will hear good and bad. Some guys love them and other hate them. It really depends on how much you weigh and how aggressive you are in riding. The strongest way you can make these is to just cut out the square holes that are needed for snow to fall through and keep as much of the existing board as possible but this means you will have to pound the stock holes flat to get a nice fit.
They are better then the stock boards and the cheapest way to get rid of some of that snow. I have thought about them until I got a Tig welder so I might make a set of airboards for our sleds. I have made my own aluminum skid plates and and belt guards for our sleds. We didn't find out 2011's to bad for snow buildup but then again we don't get the snow here like I am use to on the West coast of NFLD. Deer Lake was my home town.

Perfect thanks for the info.
I'm not an aggressive rider at all just like the high km back country rides and seeing where I can get different. Maybe these boards will do for me.
If your ever home and looking for a riding buddy PM me. Ill be in bonne bay as much as possible this winter.

I had to steal as much snow as possible here just to make a loading ramp for sleds. Hope to get more snow soon. Wish I was on the west coast of NFLD right now.

That pict is circulating around the island and driving all the east coasters mad.
Can't wait to get over just after New Years.
The RSI boards from royal arrived a couple days ago. The sled is at the dealer getting a new track, Ohlins shock, rear springs, front end olites and a service done. Got to get the sled back to install the boards before we hit all that POW.
