My 08 Nytro RTX's track is closed every third window. My drivers are shot. I want to install extrovert drivers but dont really feel like buying a new track. Anybody cut holes in the track to run these drivers or am i wasting my time?

I cut my windows last year using an exacto knife.Very easy to do,just take your time.You can use WD-40 on the blade helps it cut easier.This year I added anti ratchets and more track clips but not every window seems to work fine.I have 900 miles this year with no problems.

Also, wouldn't opening up every window allow more snow to hit the hyfax to reduce wear??
