Track Question

Looking to upgrade track on my 08 mtx with factory driveshaft which has 2 extrovert drivers. Do I need to buy a fully clipped track or can I put on clipped every third window?

Reason being every third window is 11 pounds lighter. Thanks.

Only need clips on the windows that your extroverts drive in. Any others shouldn't need clips

Thanks for the information. Which track is better? Maverick at 61 pounds, or Challenger at 51 pounds.

The stock maverick that I had on mine didn't last very long. The lugs on them are too soft and they bend and break very easy. I ended up cutting it down to 1 3/4 just so it wouldn't eat itself. I would go with the challenger. I have one on mine now and love it. Lot stiffer lug and seems as good or better in powder.

The stock maveric is horrible.pretty much any track is better.The challenger extreme does wonders for the apex mtx.
