I am considering trading in my RX-1 for an 08 FX Nytro RTX that has about 4300 kms on it and Fox float shocks. Question is, should I trade for this sled or wait for something else? I don't know anything about the FX Nytro's so I'd like some feedback.

Brendan, welcome to the site. One of my favourite loops is the Gimli, Riverton, Arborg, Gimli.
Regarding the FX Nytro, I wouldn't worry too much about the mileage on the motor. I would check over the sled well to make sure all the maintenance was performed. There is another thread about what to look for when buying a used FX Nytro, so click here if you want more information.
The main differences between your RX-1 and the Nytro will be seating position, stiffer suspension, smaller fuel tank.
