I am 180lbs but noticing my 08 rtx rear suspention rides a lot stiffer than a 06 mono shock rtx I checked and rear shock spring height is at factory setting how soft can you go with the spring and do you have to move the limiter strap at all . The rear tortion spring is set to softest setting right now .and air is at 50 on front shocks

The 08 proaction will ride harder than a 06 rtx... completely different.... I have an 07 RTX and just had my shocks rebuilt/revalved from Shocktec... made a huge difference... unreal really... should have done it sooner... I had them revalved so that the last 1/4 of stroke the shocks will not bottom hard like stock... from 1/4 to 3/4 stroke they ride cushy soft now... and top of stroke are close to stock. I am 175 without gear and with gear and saddle bags about 210... so i had them valved to suit. 08 had a different valving than 07, but not too far off... i have my front shock spring set at about half way, and now have the torsion springs at soft, but will be moving them to med before next trip.

I'd leave the limiter strap at stock, dont let spring out too far less than about half the treads on shock.. spring will loosen up and you could loose spring retainer....

i also had shocktec revalve both skidframe shocks in my 08rtx, very nice improvement, he also revalves the floats to make them better, i have my limiters up 1 hole and run the front skid shock looser, not so harsh now

I did the Pioneer revalve and it is amazing! I have yet to bottom out.
