I was just looking at the comparisons between the 08 Vector LTX GT and 07 Rage GT, same sled different chassis and the new 08 is heavier. I though the move to the deltaboxII was supposed to lighten the vector??

I have had some ?? about the 120 in the DBII myself as far as wt. goes. The 08 brousure I have does not list the wts. to compare the 120 and the 150 HP sleds.
I thought the 3 holer would be 20 to 30 #'s less than the 4holer.no gear reduction, 1 less cyl. etc.

My Vector LTX GT is only 7 lbs lighter then the Apex LTX GT, so the weight-difference is not the main difference.
The 120-engine has bigger cylinders, thereby a little wider engine, almost as long crank- and camshafts, and an extra balancer-shaft, so the weight-difference isn't that big between the engines... You only have one less piston and connection-rod, and 8 less valves (and springs, tappets and such), so there reallly isn't a huge difference.
