I bought an 09 yamaha nytro xtx. With 1 of the straps broken. I broke the other. I read that people make their own straps. Is it better to buy new or make my own?

I bought Yamaha parts and used SS hardware when I put them together. Much simpler than inventing what works. Setup is the key. Adjust as detailed on threads here based on your riding style.
