I am looking for the differences between the 08 and 09 nitro mtx.

I like 09 xtx because:
the new tunnel and snow eliminating boards
fox float shocks

I have heard that the track seems stiffer in 09 does this help in powder?
any other changes??
is the wet boot issue correted
is the front end unchanged?
how does this geomitry work in the deep and steep
Any other feed back is welcome

Your from Moose Jaw i see, I work for the dealer in Swift Current. The 09 XTX with new boards is nice, but you can get snow elimator boards that are the same thing from Rec Supply in saskatoon for like $180 bucks i think. And the XTX doesn't come with fox floats, just the GYTR shocks.

The 09 MTX track does seem stiffer than the 08, and seems to be better, haven't gotten out much to the steep and deep to see how it works in deep powder, have had it in some powder and it works well.

Wet boot issue on 09 models is corrected

MTX front end is unchanged in geometry as it seems to work better on the MTX than the NEW geometry we are told. This sled handles awesome in my opinion and I am very happy with mine. I have an 09 MTX with Fox Floats and cut out the sway bar and i love it for handling. hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, seems to be a lot people from SK on here. I guess if I lived in the mountains i would have less time to chat . Sounds like an 08 is a good choice for the mtx i can install snow eliminators, and get the wet boot update. The fox floats are on both 08 and 09? Any other changes? My Apex is a 40th a matching Nitro would be sweet!

the MTX doesn't come with fox floats on any of the models. Just stock cheap coil-over shocks. Fox floats for it are roughly $650 bucks.
