The RTX SE has a different tunnel and better shocks...that's it.

Different tunnel, better Shocks in rear, much better shocks in front. The Rear suspension rails are also reinforced, the arms were supposed to be reinforced however they decided to cut that before production, too bad I cracked my rear arm. Anyway the rest is cosmetic, a different windy, and some stickers. The front shocks are worth the extra they charged. The rear improvement is a bonus. If you are comparing the two it would be worth an extra 500 easily maybe 800 all other things being equal. You could get a standard and spend the rest on revalves and shock add ons, but you wouldn't get the other stuff as well.

The '09 SE has solid metallic blue painted upper and lower A-arms whereas the '09 RTX model they come in silver. The SE also has white wind deflectors compared to blue or black on the RTX model. The SE has large boot gripper punch outs on the 11-degree angled tunnel which are different in design compared to the RTX model. The SE has a 3 way clicker rear shock. The RTX model has a dual clicker. There was a post back on Jan 26, 2010 titled Lowering clutch engagement on a RTX SE/Clutch tuners help that mentions the SE has a different primary clutch spring compared to the RTX model.
