Do you guys think the shock calibration on a 09 SE would be adjustable across a wider rider weight range than a 08 RTX. I am 175 pounds with all my gear on, I know the shock calibration has been changed on the 09 RTX to cover a wider range, but is the SE going to be to stiff?

It wont be that stiff ... i think 60lbs should be good for most riders . at 75 lbs its to stiff... if you want more range you could still get a piggy back for the air

stiff
If you're worried about stiffness, I wouldn't get the SE. I didn't play with the adjustments on the demo ride, but out of the box it was noticeably stiffer than the RTX.
I would just hate to see people buying the SE and complaining it's stiff and ruining it for all us riders looking for a stiffer ride - just like what happened with the SkiDoo X packages. The X packages have gone from a nice stiff trail sled to a sled that's better suited for my girlfriend.

Thanks for the input guys. I am an aggressive rider, and would not complain, I just found my 08 RTX hard to dial in at my lighter weight. It sounds like both the regular 09 RTX, and the SE are calibrated for a wider rider weight range.

The SE certainly has more adjustibilty than the '08 and the '09 RTX for that matter. As for your weight, you could probably get it pretty soft so the little stuff doesn't feel so harsh. Play with some set-ups and spend the time to dial it in. For instance, your torsion springs shouldn't be on the highest setting because of your weight. I weigh a cookie over 200# and my RTX springs are on the softest setting. You want to have some sag and when you get off the sled you do not want the rear end to top out. You should be able to lift up on the rear bumper to get the suspension to top out. I would put the rebound in the middle and put the compression towards the softer side, with some adjustability, and then tweak it from there! If it's too stiff then, your just going to have to ride it harder!!
