Looking for opinions (good/bad/ugly) of those who have run the 1.375 Cobra track on their XTX. It seems like it would be a better "crossover" track than the Ripsaw. Thanks

smgabe,
The nytro in your avatar looks a lot like John Dees old sled. Did you buy it from him?

sorry for beating the dead horse...
yamahaboy701 - yep, did you recognize the sled or the garage??
Funny thing is that Nora and my wife were joking about the "girlish" color scheme when we picked it up; to which I said to my wife, "fine you can have it and I'll get a black '10" (she didn't say too much after that...).
I only wish I had more opportinuties to take it off-trail, hence the inquiry about the Cobra.

The sled, I was going to buy it this summer but somebody (you) got it before I got a chance to go up and look at it. Then again you saved me a lot of money because I didn't buy it and got a very very good deal on my nytro.
So thanks!
Cobra is a good all around track. Read the threads on this site ..... then buy
O ya, did you take him up on his offer for the free ride with him?
Thanks for the feedback on the Cobra.
Haven't had a chance to take him up on it yet, but yes it's on the list of to-do's for this season (might just me & the boyz cause the girlz are a little more interested in Gracie) but that's fine

I have not read all the threads, but this is what I found. The ripsaw does ectaclty as it says. It saws. In powder it will crew down instead of moving the sled forward. The cobra definitely does a better job. On the trail I found the rip saw to grip the surface too much and was very dificult to move the back end around a corner. The cobra allows some side to side movement because of its more paddle like profile. All in all I much prefer the cobra to the ripsaw.
