I've read a bunch of the previous posts on this, but can't remember if it was directly answered before. I'm looking to put on a 1.5'' Crossover track this fall, understanding I will lose some top end. My questions is, with the clutch kit from Ulmer's, will I need to mess with the current clutching or gearing? Also, does someone know of good step by step instruction for this mod? I'm not the best gear head when it comes to this stuff. Any help is appreciated. BRING ON WINTER!!!!

I put one of these tracks on an XTX before... didnt have to change a thing... exept drivers... these things have so much bite that anti rachet drivers is a must IMO. acutally come to think, i did 2 of these one on an XTX and the other on a 800 doo summit. both guys loved the crossover.

can you get the crossover 1.5 for the 144 xtx? i really wanted this track last year but it was only available from camoplast for the 136 and 121 (i think). Can you post the part number for this track if it is available in the 144"

I have 1 on my 144'd Attak. For my style of riding, the best track I've owned. I'll still see 118-119 on the dream meter. Ran 127-128 when I had a 136x1.25 Predator on it. Acceptable loss to me.

I had this 1.5 x144" on my XTX, took it off because my studs were abit long and were just hitting my header on big bump lands, I tried the track super tight and that just smoked hyfax faster. Didn't know the studs were too long until after I had put stock track back. I will put this track back in as soon as I put right studs in and new drivers so i can loosen up track. The top speed loss for me was 4-5 mph studded. But the traction and braking was hands down better with the crossover.

if you spend time on the trail you will like the 1.5 better than the 1.75. I have the 1.75 on my XTX and its fantastic off trail and in a straight line on the trail but hooks up too well in the corners and causes understeer. I'm going to cut my 1.75 down to 1.5 before this season starts.

I would say over half my time is on trail, but I'm always looking to dump off trail. Pretty excited for this new track, the stock ripsaw was okay but it's time for an upgrade. So the only thing I'm hearing is changing out the drivers....any suggestions on what drivers?

I have the Crossover track on my Nytro XTX and have no desire to change to anything else. I have no ratchet issues and the track fits with no issues. Mine isn't fully clipped. I installed wear bars to take care of the hyfax wearing issue. Get the fully clipped if its offered.

I can still touch 100mph on the dream meter, but guessing the true speed is mid to lower 90's. In my world, thats more speed than I know what to do with in the ditches and trails.
