I Just installed a 1.5" track on my 09 xtx and it's scrubbing on the tunnel protectors ( just barely) the track is still a little loose and I was running it with track in the air and I noticed rubber on the floor, has anyone else installed 1.5" and had this issue?

U can either leave it and ware it in or pull the protectors like I did on my Nytro XTX with 1.75 back country.

I have a 1.5" on mine and it did the same in the air, but once tightened up and on the ground it did not rub. I believe when its in the air and you rev it up you are getting alittle balooning effect which causes the rubbing. Tighten to spec and put it on the ground and take a look underneath and you will probably find you have at least 3/8" clearance. About 2300 miles on mine so far no rubbing issues.

If you don't plan on studding, I would pull the tunnel protectors that run the length of the tunnel (the cooler protectors would be optional with that track). By drilling out the rivets you have access to, the protectors can be simply twisted out without dropping the skid. Once removed, you will notice much less ice buildup!
