tried to get the sled off the trailer today after a trip and it wouldn't go. At first the key turned and typical start up with guages going on and hard crank then dead. then nothing. I tried to jump from another sled and she wouldn't go then I hooked up my truck she started right up. By the time I shut my hood and put away the cables, dead again. I went back and hooked up to truck again, left it connected for a few minutes then quickly ran it off the trailer and into my garage. By the time I shut it off saw a warning and a pic (shown below). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Code 81 is handwarmer... but that wouldn't affect it running.
Sounds more like just a dead battery issue. Muti-meter it. If it's below 12.anything volts, it's dead.
Code 81 may or may not go away with a fresh battery & full volts. I'm no electrical expert by any means, but it may be possible that if your handwarmers were on when you jumped it from your truck, the massive AMP load coulda fried a grip warmer?? Just a thought.

Could be a dead stator... If you have a dead battery, jump starting will get it going, but it isn't recharging the battery. To the stator, a dead battery looks almost the same as a dead short, so its going to get HOT!
More or less, if there is any chance of stator failure for any reason, that condition will cause it.

Thanks guys, I'm gonna try the battery before going into stator et al. I can't handle that one myself. Hopefully this will do the trick. I'm working off the original '10 battery, so it's likely nearly time anyway.
