White - I give you a ton of credit for resisting the temptation to buy a new sled with all the riding you do.
This is really the correct financial thing to do, as these sleds really haven't changed all that much in the last few years.
So I understand your point about changes in 2014, and waiting for that, BUT.......
How much do we really think is going to change with Yamaha 4S tech? I think there's limits to what they can do with weight without completely redesigning the motor.
And I wouldn't buy a 2014 anyways, at least not in year one. Wait for the bugs to be worked out, and that's years down the road.
Only reason I'm looking at something new is the deal I'm getting. This dealer I work with is really high volume and aggressive with pricing.
Plus I don't think he's too happy I bought from another dealer last year. He just didn't have what I needed, and a dealer I've never been able to get a good price from, actually came through.
I'm sleeping on this for a bit as that seems to clarify the decision for me.
But I am leaning toward the XTX now, as people seem to like them and the deal is better.
Bottom line is, there really is no reason to replace the LTX GT. It's a great sled and has low miles.
Plus this weather has me sobering up a bit. I got a bad feeling about our weather pattern. All I need is a new sled and then no snow.
