title says it all which one is faster. plan to buy one and because I m a trail rider and dont need off trail capability and because those chassis are not the fastest I dont want to give up mph for comfort. usually shorter track are faster but there exception like monoshock ra who are faster in 136 track lenght because of the track angle approach. so I will like to have real world comparaison side by side.

I really think that both are pretty even. From what I'm seeing on TY the top speed from the two are around 102-105. So I don't think there is any real advantage to either one in the speed category. One might ride a little better in bumps, and one would probably ditch bang a little better. If trail riding is what you do the LTX would be my choice.

137 is around 1mph faster. RTX was 109.8 and LTX was 110.8 on radar, tried many different setups with same results. Maybe because of the larger back wheels on the LTX.

RTX is 7.125" and I believe the LTX is 8.4"

Yes the larger back wheels are what make the difference in speed. I personally haven't driven an rtx but if there is a difference it will be minimal at best..1 mph maybe..the ltx will more than likely be a better bet for trail riding and speed as it has more track surface on the ground so ultimately better hookup

The LTX is 8.4 with the four wheel kit. I don't think they are 8.4 inches stock.

I think a Rtx is easier to get transfer and hook up than the ltx so in a race the ltx will be playing catchup.
