Huh? The limiter straps are NOT RELATED to the swaybar.

How would a stiffer bar make the ride harsh? does it limit the independacy of each shock?

Yes, A larger sway bar will limit the independancy of each side.... it will give more feedback when ons ski goes through a bump while the other side is not. I have NOT found the 13mm bar to be "Harsh". I like it overall.
I echo Machzed's input regarding lowering the front end and would add to that by recommending shortening of the limiter strap. I have mine set in the thrid pair of holes from the shortest setting (1 set shorter than where it was shipped at)

My 22 year old son (On a REV) cannot loose me in the tight twisties.[/quote]

You misread that. Shortening the straps is related to LOWERING THE FRONT END, which is accomplished by loosening the front springs. If you lower the front without shortening the straps, you will have very little ski pressure - tighten the straps to raise ski pressure.

That's what I was looking for. Sorry for not being clear with my original question.

Thanks,

If your question is in regard to improving on the "Tippiness" of the sled then shortening the limiter strap is part of the equasion. Have you tried the sled with just the sway bar addition?

I rode my sled first by adding the heavier bar.... It made a big improvement! Then I lowered the front at the skis.... More improvement! Finally I shortened up on the limiter strap.... Now it rails!!!! Cornering is great!

Haven't tried anything yet. I have the 12mm bar and heading up tomorrow to Maine where the machine is. It sounds like I should do all 3 to get the best results.

what do you guys recommend for the weight transfer after using these three adjustments.

I think I remember somewhere in one of the posts it said to put it in the middle.

But is also depends on where you are riding. Trail, Lake etc...

I have mine half way between min and the mid point. I prefer to have my skis planted while accel out of the corners. If I go with more transfer than that on my Attak the skis come up and I have to let off the gas to let them come back down for steering.

BTW I am running 108 studs in the center only.
