You have got to love a tailwind. 1/4 mile glare ice with just enough snow for cooling. (perfect conditions) I feel sure that I could of hit 135 if I ran it 1/2 mile or more. 133 on spedo must be 120 on the gun.

As a side note: There is a guy with an RX1 turbo running on Togus stream in central Maine. Reports have him running at 150 mph on radar, I have been told that the sled would go faster but the driver is afraid the track will blow.

More likely 114-116mph on the gun... You would have to be going 136-138 on the dreammeter to be in the 120 zone..

y doesnt yamaha fix the mph difference? and also what causes that much difference, cuz i dont really hear of it being such a problem with other sleds, cept for the rx/rs yamahas?!?

we have found that the speedometer is radar accurate with 10 tooth drivers. seems to be calibrated for 10s not the 9s it came with. if you grind 1 tooth off your speedo pickup, you will read app. 6 to 7mph high at top end. the odometers will read low with either of these changes.

I was wondering if any of you know if the speedometer also is way of when its swtched to KPH? Any one tried to measure with radar with the speedometer switched to KPH?

speedo

yep still way out in km,s take at lest one tooth off of the speedo gear that will take you within 5-7 mph others have taken two and reported it very close. i have in stalled 10 tooth drivers with a stk gear and its now right on and and that also reduced my track angle to 18-19 deg ;)!

only problem with cutting a tooth off is that it throws the odometer off too.. WHICH STOCK IS VERY CLOSE!
