Start this spring I am going to stretch my Attak to 144. Using Hartman rails and tunnel kit. Leaving me to track options. Just wondering I anyone has run the Camo 9003C Crossover track this year? The ripsaw is not going to be a option.

Thanks
Jeff

Have you ever looked at how much more track a 144 will put in contact with snow?

I was told, by a dealer, that a 144 puts a 1 1/2 inches more of track in contact with snow. He said if you want more track, go to a 151" - He isn't known for being an expert at these things, but I was just wondering if you've looked in to that.

I am also looking to go 144, but I'm hesistating for only a 1.5 inch gain, if that's true.

Your dealer must be doing his math wrong.136 vs 144" is 8" longer so that will put 4" more track on the ground. It dosen't sound like much but that is huge.I know a few guys that got the crossover tracks and they love them.

I stretched my warrior this year. 144" using the crossover track and hartman tunnel & rail extensions. Best thing that ever happened to that sled! And yes, it's 4" more inches on the ground.
Go for it!!

I did this canversion this year, and it's great!!! I made my own rail and tunnel ext. I also went with the skidoo 9 tooth anti-ratchet drivers, they work great but needed to be trued up on the lathe. I went with a 2" track so you need to take out the tunnal protectors. Went out west with it and it was :die . It realy ran great!! I would post pictures but I have not figured that out yet.

I plan on using 8 tooth Wahls anti-ratched drivers, the sled is over geared the way it comes. Hoping by switching to the 8 tooth gearing and clutching should be colse with the 1-1/2 crossover.

Also how did hyfax on the crossover seem to be compared to other tracks with different clip styles?

I wanted to stay with the 9 tooth to keep the speed o and o domiter some what correct. You will loose a lot of top end if you go to the 8 tooth and stay with the stock gearing.

Your dealer was comparing the 144" track to 141". (144-141)/2=1.5
