If you go from a 136" to a 144", do you need to get the tunnel extension. I have the LTX

Going from 136" to 144", I'd highly recommend a tunnel extension for a few reasons:
One, while they may fit, the 144" track would be really tight in there with stock tunnel extension, you wouldn't see the benefits of a larger track. Two, most tunnel extension kits have a kick up tunnel, which really helps. Three, removing your stock LTX tunnel extension is really easy and installing an aftermarket on is also easy.

Thx for the kind words Sledaddict. The skid is powder coated and beef up kit by Welteracer (half baked coatings), the wheels are Yammi billets, and the extension is Muffin Works. Adding the Muffin Works extension was pretty easy. I really want to put a 1.75" Back Country track too, but I ran out of dough for sled mods for this year. Oh well, Rome wasn't built in a day and there is always next year! And thx, but I tell you I learned everything from this awesome site and the great members here. The Diamond Plate looking things are are actually rubber grip/ no slip decals I got from Walmart for stairways. But with some trimming it fit well I thought, so on it went.
