151 skid swap

I picked up an 03 151" rx1 mountain skid for parts for my 03 136" rx1. I have been thinking about swapping the whole skid an getting a 151 track. Will the 151 bolt right into the existing holes in the tunnel or will I have to make new mounting holes. The sled already has a an 8" tunnel extension on it from the 121" to 136" suspunssion upgrade.

no the 151 is set back and requires drop brackets for the rear holes.

it is doable, I did it on my ER. You need to get new brackets for the front and drop brackets for the rear. Simply open up Port Yamaha's fiche for a RX1 Mtn and you'll see the brackets I'm talking about. All the holes are already in the ER/Warrior tunnel, you just need to rivet the new brackets into the holes.

If you're going to add drop brackets , get some lightweight aftermaket ones. The stockers add 9 pounds to the sled.
