Hi,

I just installed a 153" skid off a 2012 Nytro MTX.

What is the base setting for the rear floats? (Fox Float 2.) The rear shock has a extra volume container, the front shock does not.

Thanks

I have mine set at 170 & 60. 70 on the skis. I did the ziptie on the shock to see how much travel and I am using all but about 1 inch of it. I am #275 ready to ride. :yam:

Did you use the ziptie trick on the rear shocks too? I have Floats up front too, might have to let go some off the pressure from them with the new rear skid in place?

Im about 200 pounds with all gear.

The delivery spec is
Front 70 psi
Center 50 psi
Rear 150 psi

The only change I have done is to increase the right front pressure to 75 psi. Since the right ski carry approximately 10 kilograms more, this offers equal suspension sag left and right. The rear delivery spec has worked quite good, however, my sled is approximately 25 kilograms lighter than a box stock sled.

Thanks alot. I will try that setup.

I have it at 60/150 at the moment. And 65 up front.

I will try that tomorrow. Took a short ride today and the steering felt heavy.

Whats the best cure to get less ski-pressure?

letting the limiting strap loose a hole or two hole and tightening up the front track shock should do the trick for less ski pressure.

I rode about 70 km today with 60 psi in the center shock, and I think it was too hard to steer compared to my old setup.

Im gonna try increasing the pressure even more, and see if i get it how i want it. Other than that the X-ride skid seems to work great.
