Good luck with her i think for very very short runs you are fine! The big key like you said is ((my intercooler temps are always with 5degrees)) ;)! ;)!

First of all, dont take anyone too serious. Second, if its working for you that is all that matters.

I know guys that run MAJOR BOOST on pump gas and I cant even get my sled to run on 6lbs of boost... :o|

I really believe that every engine and every turbo acts differently. So if its working...GREAT! ;)!
 
I have ran mine at 15 lbs on premium at 5000 feet in waist deep powder. Just have to smart about it.
 
I will run 12# at the intercooler on Premuim at 800 ft. Just don't do really long pulls and I have MPI's long tunnel coolers that keep my engine 20+ degrees cooler than stock.
Have over 4,000 miles on it with no issues.
