I am 290lbs agressive trail rider. Can anyone send any advice on suspension setup? Also what other handling/ performance mods should I look into? Anyone have reviews on the different turbos out there?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I have the same sled. I'm about 165lbs dressed and I started on on the 2nd spring tension setting on the slide springs but eventually turned it to the softest setting. I'm guessing you'll need the (3rd) hardest setting. I also pulled up the limiter strap one hole so the skis would bite a bit more with the crappy 2" carbides and standard runners on the skis. I'll be using 6" carbides for next year & maybe drop the limiter strap back down depending on how heavy the steering will be.

I have a '15 LTX DX, think they're the same. I'm 260 dressed and ride aggressively also. 6" carbide inside, 4" outside, 144 studs, front shock spring sloppy + 2 turns, spring block on #2, transfer blocks also on #2. Now. This things handled like its on rail in most conditions BUT, would bottom out over a little less than moderate rough stuff. I left it this way for 3000 miles. Then I tried tightening front shocks and center spring only to make it tippy. Only got 8 miles on it this way before my broken starter gear took out my stator and that was the end of er.... Will see what next yr brings.

Thanks for the input guys! I was told this sled tops out mid 90s? How many teeth on the stock drive sprockets?

I got mine up to 96mph or 155km/hr this season just shortly after break in period across a lake. I'm sure the engine will loosen up a bit more and I'll probably break 100mph next season...don't care if I don't though.

I'm 260-270 dressed and I have my blocks on the 3rd setting. I ran 6" & 6" this year, and she railed.
I also added the Hurricane Power Upgrade Kit (Non Turbo), and consistently saw 160-162km/hr.
That kit brought the sled alive!

I wonder what that kit would do for me! Considering I'm 100lbs less than you guys. Lol I'm just a paper weight on this sled! Haha!

I have the hurricane clutch kit for na sleds and bmrp trail can. they really woke my 16 ltx Le up. Trail performance was way better and with 2000k on it and my 265lbs I'm getting 155kmh consistently on snowy Lake runs. I bought a turbo from hurricane now so I'm selling my clutch kit and can.

Here you go...
The Upgrade kit is the pipe, header and computer controller, and Frog Skinz for the Air box mod.
http://www.hurricaneperformance.ca/product/viper-hurricanehindle-upgrade-kit/
The Clutch Kit is the weights and new spring.

I ended up getting a sweet "Combo Deal" at the Toronto Sled Show.
This is what the Viper needs, if you're not running a Turbo.
