16" wide track on Attak

Hey... I was wondering would a 16" x 136" track fit on a '06 Attak? Or will there be issues for ice build up in the tunnel? Thanks in advance for any help!!

You could get one in there, but i bet it would rub on ice that builds up. If you didn't run studs I'd recommend just removing the tunnel protectors before you install the wide track.

I would like to run studs if possible... Guess I'll have to go back to a 15"x 136" again.. Thanks for the suggestion!

You can but you need different rear mounts for the skid. You can run studs but you may need smaller drivers.

I remember reading a post on here a couple years back about a guy that done this it was a tight fit but he did get it to work. I wouldnt even think about going 16'' wide on my attak, those things are hard enough to maneuver around as it is seeing its so heavy a wider track would make it worst. I even went to 15'' on my mtx wayyy better IMO.

Thanks guys for the advice! I think I'm going to go with a 1.75" backcountry instead.. 15" wide. I overheated my old track n the lugs all came off!! LOL..
