Well after 17k miles it was time for an overhaul of my 2011 Apex. The list includes new track (pre-studded ice ripper), new hy-gear dual rate spring, revalve of front and rear shocks by Racers Edge Performance, powder coated skid and A-arms, new 310 CCA amp battery (thanks sasquatch), new windshield, New bushings front and rear, and the usual pre-season maintenance.

At 12000 miles I just did a track extension to 128 and an ice ripper also. Did all the bearings and seals. Looked at the chain but also chose not to replace. Next year will redo all the front end bushings. WRP seat and 2" extension on handle bars.

Went with a dual rate spring from Travis at Barn of Parts also. Can't wait to get on the snow. I got the first TMA from Danville this year so hope I didn't jinx anything. Lol!!!

Any reason you didn't have Hy Gear rebuild your shock since you bought their spring?

I use REP here in Hampden Mass. I raced motocross foe 30 years and they did my suspension for the last 15 years with great results. I have a good relationship with them and know the owner personally.

You didn't. Danville area is great to ride. I love the NEK, and have a place in Island Pond.

Where did the powder coat work go?
