belt guard is a need or you pay double if you blow a belt with the 1.75 and you will . clutch kit puts you in the torque band , and better lower engagement and better fuel milage by a little bit

The first thing, and the most important thing for this sled is a Mountaintech skid plate. Mine has some good and deep test marks that would have shredded the stock plastic one.
Run the stock belt and spend some time dialing in the suspension to your liking. There are some good recommendations on this site as starting points.
Once you get that figured out and get used to the sled (it responds well to rider input and those that don't like this style of riding tend not to like how feh nytro handles) then start deciding what you want to mod. Some good recommendations above and there is much more you will want to do.......

whats wrong with the oil and bearings? I thought this was a new sled? Stick with the stock belt. Much more durable that Dayco or Gates.
She's not new. The friend I bought it from picked it out of a bank auction in Regina. He has too many toys and too much going on this winter so I scooped it from him at good (too good to pass up) price. It has ~4,000km and I have no idea how well the original owner maintained it. So I'm being safe and assuming no maintenance was done.

LOWER BELT GUARD to save belly pan and comfort clutch kit from SCHMIDT BROS and OSP belt adjuster .
I like what I've read about comfort clutch kit and the guard. However I hold off until I get some snow and see how the clutching is, for all I know the previous owner already did it.
I'm not familiar with the OSP belt adjuster, do you have a link?

If the clutch engages close to 3000 rpm you probably have something close to the comfort clutch kit. 14.5 rollers and a OPO Primary Spring (orange , pink, orange ), stock secondary spring is what I use in a MTX 162 for Flatland Saskatchewan .
So how much did you get it for. I always forget about those bank auctions in Regina.

I'll check the engage speed and look into what springs and rollers are installed, though honestly I'm a complete nube to clutching. A big part of the switch to Yamaha and 4-stroke was the ability to "gas and go".
Do you have a sketch of your clutch plate?

Make sure you check out your suspension. I've bought 2 nytros in the last 3 years and both were set on the softest settings. They felt lazy and turned hard. I adjusted all the shocks to the hardest setting according to the manual, maxed out the weight transfer, and fully extended the limiter straps. This really woke up the sled! Made it way more fun to drive. Still has a very good ride in my opinion.
