I just got a 2" Powermadd bar riser for my 05 RX-1, do I have to re-route the throttle cable or brake line ?
Thanks

Just make sure that after you install the riser you have enough throttle cable freeplay (3-4mm) with the handlebars turned in each direction as I have seen the risers lead to some TORS issues on both RX and RS series sleds.

I just added a 1" riser and rolled my handlebars back so that they sit higher with the 1" riser, and man, what a difference. I would recommend this + the rebiasing of the skis with an old belt to anyone. Makes all of the difference in the world. You can take the trails so much faster this way! (and 1" doesn't make it cold because you're still protected)

Thanks, I will definately remember that.

my buddy just put a 2' articulating riser on his 05 rx1.the tors kicks in when you turn the bars all the way to lock .but not when riding.you cant see the gauge cluster any more.and it looks like he is riding a harley down the trail from behind.but he likes it.

I put mine on yesterday, no problems with the TORS, but I feel like I'm riding a Harley with ape hangers. LOL !!!! I might have to go down to a 1 inch to be comfortable....

tonyvt, i think johngalt is talking about shimming the skis to stop darting. you can use a piece of belt and screw it in the back of the rubber block to raise the front of the skis.

Grader, Thanks for the reply. I would like to try this if I get the details on it. My OE. skis have shims welded to the front of the ski runners and this works great. I have almost no darting ever....
Over the summer I want to find any trick I can to help my handling since I have to wait a year for an Apex...
Thanks again,...
