I've never really heard it explained......why they can run the Nytro motor when it's actually larger displacement than the Apex motor????

Nytro's don't have the gear reduction like the Apex's have, i guess it's more a even playing field with the 2strokes. It was just funny, the big heavy RX-1/Apex's, with less hp, than a mod 600 around 150-160hp, depending on who the motor builder was, was betting up on them 2strokes. Now we can only run the 1050cc FX Nytro, or the 973cc or 1050cc Vector/GT, 500cc Phazer, or a 500-600cc SRX/SX

People say yamaha four-stroke sleds are inferior to the competition yet the competition throws the rulebook at yamaha when they win.Them turning forks must keep them awake at night .Good luck guys.

What is under the bump in the rear of the tunnel sides?

Thats for when u lean over going into a turn, they rest there butt on that so it dont hit the tunnel. Soo I-500 is a long race, you need a little comfort when racing.
