my first is for those of you that have installed a trail tank on their nytro mtx. i am in the process of installing one on my 2012 mtx 162 and have it bolted in, but the fuel line is about 2 inches too short when i try and hook it up to the fuel pump side. i checked and the 2011 fuel line is the same part number as the 2012. any thoughts from anyone?
my next question is a little easier. where is the oil pressure sending unit/sensor located?
thanks for the info.

Regarding the fuel line, I took up some slack from the looped section on the upper right side. Last year, fuel would spew out the vent line when I filled up the tank though. This year, I routed the vent line twice around the steering column and back down to the footwell. I haven't tried it yet to see if it worked or not. I'm hoping it will.

Now that I reread your post, do you mean the fuel line that attaches to the bottom of the fuel tank? I didn't have any issues there. Are you sure the tank is seated correctly?

the fuel line attatches to the fuel rail on the engine side and to the fuel pump at the other end. i have the fuel rail side hooked up with no problem, but when i try to attatch it to the fuel pump i am coming up about two inches too short. as far as the tank being seated, i have it already bolted down and the two nuts that hold it to the chassis are as far back as they can go which puts the tank as far forward as it will go, so im assumming that it is seated correctly.

Is it possible to mount the fuel pump the wrong way, ie. 180 degrees around?
Or maybe you've got the fuel lines switched?
Or maybe the tank is binding the fuel line at the steering gate?

Check the fuel line right in front of the tank. The Fuel line has a hard bend in it that needs to be the right direction and bend around the top of the tank. Try rotating the fuel line, you may get the extra length you need.

The oil sender is on the back side of the block, near the oil filter. Easy to get to when the bottom skid plate is off.

If all else fails, give Seth a call at Trail Tank. You may have to leave a message, as he is a one man show. He will call you back though. Guy is right up there with customer service. The fuel line was tight on mine, but if you are all the way forward, and have the line in the groove on the tank it should fit. I have installed two of them with no issue.
