I can't wait to hand turbo M7 around here its #*$&@ aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Haven't had a chance to do this this season... only time we could have done it... the M7 just quitted when it was time to drag on the hill....

nice footage, great to see your back in the groove hammer , just got a 29t-22t pulley set you can borrow , fast heartrate is great cardio rehab.....

Stress Tests - EKGs - Echocardiograms all showed 100% recovery of the heart muscle ... So I got the doc to sign off on a little playtime !!! ... Now remember that the videos only show that "every dog has his day" ... The TM8 actually had me beat first three runs ... we were within a sled length but I was beat ... to even the score I had to turn the nitrous regulator wide open (full 50-shot) and hold the magic button to the bar the whole 10-seconds of the climb ... the TM10 owner needs to get his dialed-in and it's capable of 100+more horsepower ... the guys that were there told me it's just ridiculous fast when he’s on his game.

It looked like he beat you in the 3rd video?
I had him beat so bad, so many times, I didn't want to waste any more nitrous on him ... as stated in the clip specifications I only ran nitrous 3/4s of the run.

So by judging this video.

A tm7/8 with lets say 16# of boost should be about the same in climb speed as a tpex running 16# of boost right?

In an equal state-of-tune … I would have to say no … because last season two of these guys had TM7s (Bob & Jason) with 2860s … we raced dozens of times during the season on the same hills we did this season … boost-for-boost they would beat me with about a 10-20ft gap between us … I was close enough that I felt the need to install a little juice and close that gap … I would estimate that it took me at least a 30-shot to be nose-to-nose in competitive climbing … so if it were a pounds of boost comparison I would say that they had an equivalent of 3lbs boost advantage due to M-series chassis design and overall weight … Jason’s TM8 has really low-compression so we were guessing his 16lbs would be more like 13lbs with stock compression … as always there are tons of factors to consider in any comparisons … I prefer to just get out there … put the paddles to the snow … and git-r-done !!!

How many cfm or lb/min does your sc run. Compared to a 2860 that flows 535 or so cfm. And how much boost were you running when you say boost for boost? I just ask to see if it's a acurate comparison to say a msled running the same boost could beat a turbo apex with a similar turbo. They certainly have the weight advantage though.

In my experiences with racing m sleds with a mitsubishi 16t (435 cfm) against a M1000 with a gt3071r (~650cfm) he would pull me by about 2 sleds me with 14 psi and he at the same. I also had a 174" track he a 162".

On my old rx1ton I destroyed 2860 M7's with my gt2871 boost for boost.

State-Of-Tune ... is everything from compressor efficiency, to air fuel ratio, to intake temps, to clutching, to gearing, to track approach angle, to weight transfer, to traction, and the list goes on and on ... It’s a bunch of little things added together that creates a great performer ... My super flows about 300cfm the way its setup now and heats the intercooler to 70-100*F so I blast it with nitrous and it brings the intake temp back down to ambient plus adds oxygen ... the rest of the variables in my setup are right on the money (just my opinion) ... but like I was saying the only way to prove any setup is get it on-the-snow ... because talk is cheap ... and having a video of you winning the race ... priceless !!!

What is your opinion on the cams hurricane is selling. Made by web cams and you also need valve springs. Total is around 1250

All the sleds I mentioned were tuned well. When Mulot Turbo asked "So by judging this video. A tm7/8 with lets say 16# of boost should be about the same in climb speed as a tpex running 16# of boost right?" We need to specify which turbo is being used. In the case of your supercharger at 300 cfm against a 2860 at 535 cfm then the m sled would pull it boost for boost. But a Apex with a 2860 and a m sled with a 2860 a Apex will out pull the m sled boost for boost and both well tuned. Nice vids :4STroke:
