I have posted a couple simple tips.
The rail tips get loose. I drilled and filed a square hole in the rail so the screw can acommodate a nylock nut with a stainless bolt. I also fill the plastic tip with goop. It will never get loose again.

Click on this link and scroll down to see some pictures of my repair. I'm not sure why you would go to the trouble of filing a square hole in the rail when the nylock nut can simply tighten against the rail cap.

I heard RD jumped ship to Arctic Cat but is currently pulling his hair out with all the Cat related issues?
Not sure when, but from what few peeps are saying, he will back on a Yamaha sooner, rather than later.
