has anybody put the phaze-jack 2 up seat on their sled? if so how did it work out?
i put mine on yesterday with alot of fu@@ing around. the seat is made for the 07 with a template to drill your own mounting holes on the bracket for the 08's. after this was done the bolts that came with it were the wrong thread and useless.the bolts on the sled were to short. i know this because the seat fell off along with my girlfriend last night.this is a concern to me because she was hurt no serious injury's but it could have been bad. just wondering if anybody has had the same problem if so how did you correct this?

I assume you have the same Phaze-Jack seat I have. They are made by Jack industries in Quebec

While I only have mine as the dealer had it on installed on my sled when i bought it, it was a demo, I have never used, and I don't want due to to soft suspension on my mountain lite, and the increased tippiness. However, I have mounted it several times to keep it out of the way and keep it from getting bet up and it seemed vey solid on my machine.
One thing to look for, is at the back of the seat where the "seat pad" slips on over the back, there is a seem right where the seat bends and the seat cover is stapled to the plastic. The seamon my seat has torn in this location and I'm guessing it is due to the design of how it slips on.
Also I can't imagine it being very comfortable riding 2-up, as I have had soemoen sit on the back while I had the seat installed in the garage before, and it wasn't very comfortable, and I'm not very big either, 6 feet and 170 lbs. Since I've never used it I won't condemn it, but I don't expect much so I would never have it, except for the fact it was basically given to me. I highly doubt it would be worth the 5 or 6 hundred bucks they cost.

it is the phaze-jack that i have. i didnt find it to bad with the 2 up riding(until the dam thing fell off) but like you said it`s real tippy. i contacted the dealer and they are going to have a look at it monday. hopefully i will get somewhere with it. it just seems that they needed to change the design from 07 to 08 due to the extra plastics added closeing the side`s of exaust but never bothered. and at $500 a piece with the mod`s to the plastic, carrige bolts with the wrong thread it`s just not worth it. i don`t like to talk crap about products but i am really unsatisfied with the seat.
i will work on getting some pics
