The first sled I bought for my wife was/still is a 700 Vmax ER. Fairly heavy sled and probably not much lighter than the RX. She loves it. Handles just fine and she likes the feel of some sled between her legs (careful now). How many chicks do you see drivin' big rigs, i.e. Excursions, Tahoes, Suburbans? There's just something about having lots of weight beneath them that makes them feel a bit more comfortable or safe.
I don't think she'd have any problem with the RX. While there are obviously many lighter sleds out there that she'd like, if the RX were her sled, she'd adapt to it and learn the skills necessary to ride it like a champ.
