2005 REV 800 HO 144 studs VS 2004 RX-1 with 144 studs

My friend keeps trashing the RX-1 i wanna shut him up how much will he beat me say on hard packed or lake? both riders same weights stock rev and stock RX-1 with both studded.

My 04 Warrior was dead even from start to finish with an 04 Rev 800 HO in a 1 mile long race on a lake and we tried it 3 times. Both sleds stock! Warrior was still breaking in.

Having had both, I'd put my money on the REV. Those HO's are Damn Quick! EXCEPT if it's a Renegade, then you might have him. In 2005 the Gades have a 16" track which I HATED . They take about 10 MPH off the top. My 2004 HO with the 15X1.25" was Super Quick! I could easily take my buddys 04 RX1.


PS. The 600SDI DOES NOT perform the same as the 800HO. The 800HO easily pulls a 600SDI all the way through!

A riding buddy of mine has an 05 800 HO renegade and I have a 05 Rx-1, I can jump him out of the hole however he passes me at about 90 or so, I outweigh him by about 100 lbs though.

How many miles on the 05? I just bought an 05 and now I'm getting scared that it won't be faster or for that matter even as fast as my 02 srx! Any opinions on this?

I would run him on a 100% ice surface if you want to win.

I have owned quite a few sleds but none do what my 03RX-1 does on ice.

Hardpack trails 115 on speedo, glare ice without even a dusting of snow I will see around 130!!!!!!!!

F7 on snow will run with me easy, on ice no way!! Stock for stock.

Hears the deal my bud had a bone stock 04 rev ho800 and it would out pace me in the midrange every time,but at that time i weighed 270+ and he 160+ but it would turn around on top end i could run a little more top at 115-117 gps and him 112-114 gps and by the way his digital speedo would say 121 at 114 gps and mine 130 at 115 gps if we rolled on at 60 i could take him,if we started from dead stop i only got him on hole shot,and he would pull along side and run ahead until 105 gps than i could reel him in,and mine wasi a shorty 03 with goodies on it..lol have fun but its not that they are that far apart..
