2005 RS Rage Loud clutch noise

Hi people I'm new to the site! I own a 2005 Rage with 4100miles on it. There is a loud noise coming from the clutch yet it works fine. It seems to get louder every ride but no performance issues. Any ideas? I Also want to swap out the 1.25" rip saw track for a 1.75" backcountry our local dealer says no problem...has any one tried a 1.75" lug on a rage?

Are you talking about the world famous clutch rattle at idle???????? Some people say it sounds like a can of bolts. Mine doesn't make the noise.. How long ago have you changed the belt??? If not maybe you have a flat spot... Good luck, MM.

I would not do that with that sled.I have a red one very good trail sled but off trail terrible.It doesn t even back up good. Keep the stock one that stock track is great.

I put a 2" paddle track on mine this year, put on 8s tooth extrovert drivers, handlebar riser and a few other mods. I can't see why a 1.75 wouldn't work. With those extroverts I had to cut out the stud guards but I will tell you if been going everywhere my buddies 600 ski doo back country has been going. It makes an amazing difference! Well worth the money. Finally something to get this heavy beast through the deep stuff!
