I like the way these mount and look to put snow right up front on the slides. I just bought some Duraflex ones to install and wonder they could be installed in the same manner. Anyone try it? I haven't found a good spot on the rail to drill a hole on my Venture unless I go back to almost to the mid point and that seems to far back based on where the wear is on my slides.

IMO - when it comes to rail mounted scratchers, how far forward really isn't that important. The amount of snow and ice these things kick up is unreal. They're kicking up so much snow/ice into your rotating track and the track is moving it around up in the tunnel and the rails etc etc. Most times I only run with one down because they work so well. I just switch back n forth every once in a while.
