I have heavy hitters (FBP 094) not sure of the weight, with aluminum 3/8 bolt and thin washer on tip, 3/8 steelbolt with thin washer in the middle and two short allen screws in the beginning. Secondary has a silver spring and a RX 2 cam. Spring preloaded to 6 on the cam and 1 on the secondary. The sled revs to 9700 with this setup.
Would like to know what setup I need for trail riding in Northern Wisconsin?
What RPM should the engine spin with CPR turbo?
RX 2 Cam what angle?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

I clutched an 05 Vector with jeffs kit. I can give you a guideline.
I used the base supertips loaded to about 62 grams.w-s-w primary spring. 48/44 Bender helix. Pink secondary spring at 60 or 70 wrap. Sled ran 8300 at 8 pounds boost & 8600 at 10 pounds which is where you want to be. I was really impressed with the vector/cPR package. What a screamin sleeper.

Turk,
When you guys talk about sec spring tighten to 60 or 70 what does that mean? Do you hook a scale on to the movable sheave to get the correct poundage?

Chris, "60" ,"70" is in refrance to Degrees on the movable sheave you will see 3 numbers 1,2 and 3 and on the Helix you also find 3 and I believe they are 9,6,3 . you take the 3 from the helix and the 3 from the movable sheave and you get 60 degrees , or the 6 and the 1 for 70 .

Turk,
It worked pretty good.

I wieghed the weights and they are 63 grams. This really helped as of before they weighed 52 grams. Still revs to 8900 but I'm wondering if my gearing is pretty low as it's a 151 2 inch trakc on it. I think the gearing is 20-40. Way more pull in the midrange and top but little more sluggish in the beginning. We rode 300 miles this weekend in Wi and the UP. Sled ran good. Had some issues with the idling when stopping. The engine would sit at 3000 rpm and code 84 would flash. Trying to hit throttle and engine would die. Shut the engine off. Wait a sec and turn it back on again and it was fine. I added some HEET to the fuel when refueling. that helped some.
Also the turbo pressure gauge must have frooze as it would not work the last 120 miles. When I came back to my house and parked it inside I saw that the K&N filter was pretty plugged with ice.
When we drove over Lake Gogebic in Mi the sled would over heat (190-200) if you cruised at 60mph and above. The sled usally stays at 160 all day long. I'm thinking that the paddle track don't pickup enough snow at higher speeds. All I had to do was to hold down my feet and that would spray enough on to the coolers.
Anyway thank for the help it really made a difference. This is my first fourstroke turbo. I've ran V-max 4, XLT, Vmax 600 and AC 700 with Aerocharger turbos before. The four stroke Turbos are not as finniky as the twostroke.

I wish you woulda told me about the gearing before cus that makes a huge diff. I thought i was working with stock gearing. add 1 more thick washer inner & 2 to the tip. Then hang on! geez; now ya tell me about the track & gearing!!! Coulda had that thing just flying with that info before your trip!

84 code is tors probly just have throttle cable to tight.paddle track tend to need more snow a set of icescratcher will help that.if it is still slugish on the bottom end just move more weight to the tip.
