would this be a good sled?or would I have to many problems with it?said it is set up for trail ridding? 2005 Yamaha RS 1000 turbo. It is a 162" with the new style rear suspension. The sled has been highly modified Nitro block and head.

Carrillo rods

Custom JE 8.5.1 compression pistons

Lightened, nitrated and balanced crankshaft

Custom ground Camsfhats and billet gearssaid

Titanium intake valves

Custom large bore CV carbs mapped to the CDI ignition

Stainless exhaust header with center tail pipe

Modified dry sump system with Nitro pump

Turbonetics t3 ceramic coated custom turbo No Lag

Turbonetics Waste gate and blow-off valve WP adjustable boost

12.9 Head bolts with special Cometic head gasket (Closed Deck Block)

Chassis:

Modified Yamaha clutchs

Super adjustable Ride Fx shocks (all postions)

Holtz 43" Control arms

Billet track wheels and ice scatchers

2" Kevlar track

Two Brothers exhaust silencer

Large rear cooler

Gauge pod and boost gauge

USI Powder pro skies with 12 Carbides
 
sleds are good in stock form & it sounds like this one has had a few mods done (sarcasm)

what do you want to use it for?

i'd say the 162 might be a little excessive if you just trail ride.

ya I mostly ride trails and two tracks. with everything that has been done to it not sure if it would be dependable ?
 
I'd say yourself the money and hassle and find one in stock form. The RS models are good dependable sleds. I would constantly worry that thing was going to blow up or have some problems. 162 inch is going to be too long for trail riding and 2 tracks in most situations.
