2006 Apex Exhaust Silencer

At around 10,000 miles the stock rear exhaust silencer on my 2006 Apex cracked off where the 2 pipes go into the single fat pipe. I bought a used one on ebay and that one cracked after 500 miles.
Is anyone else having this issue? Could it be removed and welded? Are there any reasonably prices after market pipes available for this machine? Suggestions? Thanks,

yes they almost all crack there at that millage it is stainless there and can be welded. you can put an after market silencer with out fuel mapping and get a litter "nicer" sound and maybe a little hp gain (not enough to notice without a dyno) but it will be cheaper then oem.

I had my TIG welded in that spot about 1000 miles ago. I have 7650 mi on my apex.
