I have a 2010 apex with a stock battery and has never been touched aside from removal for the stupid oil change and I will not mess with a good thing it's going to get exactly what it came with but that being said bigger is better I've just got a bad taste in my mouth from gel battery's in vehicles

ya i had to reroute cause teminals were opposite, no big deal, but would be nicer proper way!

I have been using a gel in my 06 for 5 years. I don't even trickle charge it during the summer, and have had no problems in the fall when I start it. Plenty of power. I also have an Optima gel in my drag boat that is 10 years old, and it still cranks over 1000HP with no problem. Go with gel.
