Hey guys I have a 06 apex gt. Rode it today
For a few minutes. And the check engine light
Came on and code 85 is stuck on the display
I read it may be the oil pressure switch in a search
Any insight as to where to start and what to look for
Anyone else had this issue before?
I own 3 of these and this is the first I've
Had of a trouble code from any of them?
Thanks in advance.

i belive that sensor is behind the battery on the lower portion of the
engine.
just for a quick check what is your oil level at. if its high in the tank you hae
a vapour lock inline if level is fine you got a short somewhere.
those are my guesses

YEAH, I figured it out..... my dumbass didnt plug it back in after the oil change...... took the air box off and found it right away,
still cant figure out why it didnt set the code right away? Ive had that sled running 20 times since i did that oil change a month or so ago and it didnt come on till i rode it a mile or so?
pluged it back it problem solved...... lol
thanks for the imput guys i wont let that happen again i assure you of that

Good find! I am glad you got it fixed. I have almost forgot to put the wire back on that sensor myself a few times.

Glad it turned out to be that simple!
Perhaps you did connect it but failed to completely snap the connector together and it eventually came loose?
