I'm messing with a buddies 06' attack. His axle idlers both have stress cracks.
I look up new and the price. Holy $hit. $81.02-99.00 bucks for one silly 7" plastic wheel.
Anyway, I remember somewhere in here, way back that there are better replacements with removable bearings. But every search I do, I come up with stuff that has nothing to do with the rear axle wheels.
Any suggestions ?? Thanks for any info.

I have a question on idler wheels. I just bought new ones from the dealer and the part number matches. There is a plastic piece in the new ones around the bearing so they won't fit into the lug on the skid. Am I supposed to remove the plastic piece or are these the wrong wheels? The wheel on the bottom is the old one.

You probably would have to take those plastic pieces off or the wheel won't fit on the axle. They should just pop off each side with a screw driverI have a question on idler wheels. Those pieces just protect the bearing during shipping and handling. Pop em out.

Those plastic parts are to be used on older style pro-action skid, I had one and am sure those pieces are not to be thrown away, give them to someone with a pro-action skid.I have a question on idler wheels. Come on Stevie don't just guess like that, I have had to buy a few of them because they get brittle and break when replacing a bearing,..........Those pieces just protect the bearing during shipping and handling. Pop em out.

They are free if you want them. Shoot me an address and they are in the mail.
On a separate topic. The new wheels have replaceable bearings. There is a circle clip on them. Question before I put the blue locktite on, do the clip face inward toward the track or outward ?
