My 06 Vector with approx 3600 miles was running perfectly until my son inlaw
rolled going up a hill and now when cold starting she need lots of cranking before it starts, once engine warm i have no problems starting. I have checked motor top to bottom, replaced plugs, the only damage when it rolled was a broken mirror. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the exact same problem with my 05' Rage....minus the rollover.
Cold start is terrible....my friend has the same sled and his fires right up everytime no matter how cold the temp...
I changed the plugs as well...No difference.
I'm going to turn my idle up and see if that helps. I'll find out tomrrow morning and post resuts....when I get home and night..

Check the condition of you battery. It could be low when cold resulting in a hard cold start.

I've always been curious why sleds are hard to start after they've been on their sides. Once they're started then there's never a problem unlike carioca who seems to have a permanent issue. I always figured the carbs get flooded.
I found out why my Rage was a "Hard Cold Start"
I lifted the hood and worked my choke and gues what?
My choke cable was disconnected......Problem Solved!!!!!!

I believe I found my problem, I notice a oil leak after a thorough inspection I found a hairline crack on the oil tank running vertically for approx 2in, oil is seeping from this crack, I still haven’t found choke cables.
Has anyone replaced the oil tank? I was actually thinking about running a beat of aluminum weld on the length of the crack, any suggestions would be appreciated.
