Hey Guys need some help. My 2007 Apex came with a 4.5 Rate kgf/mm spring. I am 6'2" 220 lbs and i am bottoming the crap out of this sled. The dealer here gave me a list of springs i could put on to replace the stock spring. Same rating (KGF) 6.5, 3.0, 8.0,5.0,7.0, in that order on the sheet they gave me. Not sure what these ratings are and what would work the best for me - I am a fairly aggressive driver.
Thanks - any help would be appreciated.

I'm 250 all geared up I ride aggressivly and I'm pretty sure I had the 6.5 installed on mine and now it only bottoms on real crater sized moguls.

im same size as u, I have the Mono EC on my GT, went with 6.5 with revalve from pioneer, i have it dialed in where I love it, the 6.1 is probably another good option. Good Luck!

I'm 245 and went to the larger 6.5 and only bottom out in the moguls also. With this spring it rides thru the rough stuff just fine.

Call Frank at Shocktec and he will guide you in the right direction. He did my revalve on my mono and suggested i stay with the 5.o spring and it only bottoms on really big bumps and eats the stutters really well. I weigh 200 btw.

I'm probably close to 250 with gear and i run the stock spring, I did however move the clip up, i just went by the chart that came with the sled and now I only bottom occasionaly.
