Mono shock black spring

I just bought a 2011 Yamaha Apex basic and noticed that the mono spring is black which I believe is a stronger spring than the silver spring that comes on the sled. I'm wondering if with my weight(170 lbs) if it will be too stiff even on the lowest setting. Does anyone have a chart for the Black spring? Thanks

2011+ Apex standard models came with a black spring. It’s more than likely the stocker. I don’t have specs on the spring, I believe they were 5.0kg/mm. The progressive springs that BOP sells reportedly work very well. I’m tryin one this year in a 137 Mono I’m installing into a Nytro.
