Anyone have any REAL info on possible changes for the 2007 machine? (powerplant, cosmetic, suspension)

Thanks.....

I guess they are pretty tight-lipped about this stuff.

I want to buy a GT, but based on current weather conditions and projections I am not sure I want to by a sled that will immediately be 1 year old - without really getting to use it... I'll buy the '06 now if looks and acts 99% like a '07 might..

Suggestions?

I was told the 121s are done & they will be 128 X 15s!

Will be called the GTX for Xtra long!

They are silver with black & gray stripes!

Little gauges change!

Everything else the same!!!

Longer handwarmers, stiffer rear spring and an Attak GT.

Dito.

Plus the colour will be black with different accents.

How sure are "we" of these changes - especially about the track?

I doubt that unless it's 128*15. Cat is doing away with the narrow track becuase it doesn't work.

That's right, that would be dumb because CAT is going away with it, because it never really worked out and is not a good design. If it was good all of the other OEM's would have jumped all over it and they never did. Wider is better.

The OEM's are just getting into the 128, as Polaris did this year. With the longer suspensions, the machines needs a little more track on the ground to get enough traction, IMHO... Although NOT the 13,5 width as A-C uses. ;)!

If you live in NY forget about it, just wait till Feb 12 then you'll know for sure. However, I highly doubt any major changes to the Apex. I'm thinking a complete revision of the Nitro and an entry level ditch banger.

heard from the dealer jus minor changes, they will have better handwarmers, stiffer rear springs wheels that work, This is for the apex and all other sleds. They said there will be an introductory 4 stroke sled, light, twin cylinder single exhaust, 100-110 hp. Will have trail versions and a nytro type version. That is what the dealer told me.

I heard that there will be a 800 supercharged twin using 400 cylinders similar to the MX bike. Talked to a guy who saw it and says it exists. Who knows?

if the shorties are going 128" wouldn't it make sense to make the attak a 144"??? (although i doubt they'll go to a 128, we'll see in less then a months time)

I hope the only change is that I have one lol! maybe a better windshield desing would be nice, more protection from a windy that still looks good. and whtever kinks they had. thats what I would like from the CURRENT sleds. any newer/lighter/smaller sleds would be welcome too. my dad is like 5'2" and doesnt really fit on his vector, let alone an apex. cant reach the running boards with his tiny legs lol!
